Postdoctoral Fellow
YoungJu received his B.S. in Physics and Mathematics from KAIST in 2018, his M.S. in Biology from Stanford University in 2020, and his Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Stanford University in 2024. Jointly mentored by Karl Deisseroth and David Sussillo, he integrated large-scale neurophysiology with data-driven modeling, discovering cell-type-specific and brain-wide dynamical structures that implement diverse reward computations. He continues to develop advanced neurotechnologies and computational frameworks for data-driven systems neuroscience.
