Postdoctoral Fellow
Tomomi received her B.S. degree in Molecular Biology from UC San Diego and completed her Ph.D. degree in Immunobiology at Yale University in the labs of Andrew Wang and David Hafler. During her graduate studies, Tomomi identified, characterized, and studied the origin and role of T cells present in the mouse and human brain at homeostasis. As a postdoctoral fellow in the Deisseroth lab, Tomomi will investigate neural circuits involving bi-directional communication between the nervous and immune systems.
