Jackson Powell

Jackson received his BA in biochemistry from the University of Pennsylvania in the Vagelos Molecular Life Sciences program. Prior to starting MD/PhD at Stanford, he worked under the supervision of Prof. Yuanquan Song at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia studying neural regeneration. In the Deisseroth Lab, Jackson is interested in using human and mouse electrophysiological recordings to find new clinical targets for neuromodulation.
